These patterns are very well written and detailed. I like that there are different size blocks to choose from and it is clear which pages to print out for each. The birds are unique and beautiful and will be perfect in a lot of sewing projects.

Bird patterns can be really fussy if they try to get all the details just right. These patterns project the essence of each bird with a simplified design. I have the feeling that I can make a variety of birds (blue jay, robin, bluebird) with them by varying the colors. It’s going to be a fun quilt!
